There are few similarities between inquiry based and traditional education, the main similarity is that both learning can be taught in the same country, and both have the goal to prepare students to success in the university. Inquiry is becoming more popular in schools but rote learning is still applied in today’s modern classrooms.
A student in a traditional teacher centered learning environment it is easier to lose attention as students are not as invested in what is being taught. They would be more interested if it was more engaging in active involvement so the students could express their ideas. Therefore, having more participation. Also, when there is an exam or assessment the students who are taught with a traditional education is more likely to forget what they have learnt. On the other hand, students who learn with inquiry based learning are able to keep the information of what they learnt because they have a depth understanding and they are able to retain information. In addition, students who learn through inquiry based have a differentiated learning depending on their needs otherwise traditional learning do not provide these types of necessity. An important element for today’s teaching is collaboration. As a result of developing communication, argumentative and problem-solving skills, this is more applied on inquiry based than rote learning. PYP uses Learner Profiles and Attitudes to support their transdisciplinary approach, including communication, research, social, self-management and thinking skills. There are twelve learner profiles which are being open-minded, principled, reflective, risk-taker, thinking, caring, communicator, inquirer, knowledgeable and well-balanced. The attitudes that are promote in IB curriculum are appreciation. enthusiasm , commitment, integrity, tolerance, cooperation, creativity, confidence, empathy, tolerance, independence and respect . The learning styles provides multiple choices for students to learn by incorporating inquiry and rote learning together. Using rote learning as foundation students are able to understand and apply some concepts such as learning the alphabet.

Rote learning is based on a traditional style, and goes back to the original behaviourist theory which is learned through operant and classical conditions. For example, in primary education the teachers gives rewards to those students who behave correctly, this means respect between each other, raising the hands when someone wants to talk, being quiet in class, etc. Sometimes, teachers also use conditioning to punish their students through positive and negative reinforcements. A students environment plays a big role influencing on their learnt behaviour this is an example of traditional education in Spain.
Overall, this project was to recognise the importance of both teaching styles based in Spain and Hong Kong, and how they changed within the 21st century preparing students for the 21st century world. Traditional teaching is still relevant to our current time as a stepping stone to inquiry based learning. With basic knowledge taught, rote teaching provides students with background information to develop their critical thinking skill through inquiry.

Your beauty should not be defined just for your physical appearance. “We are” like a book cover. Strangers only see the outside which is a tiny representation of us. They will never know the way we are unless they get to know the person.
There two different types of people. The ones that look beautiful physically but they can be arrogant. On the other hand, there are people who don’t pretty physically but they have an excellent heart. What I am trying to say throuhg this post is that your beauty should be more defined for your personality than your physical appearance.
If someone’ personality is outstanding. Then, they will win more hearts than who don’t. The main purpose of this post is not to compare and contrast two extreme identities. Basically, it is to make understand the society that beauty has to do more for the way you are as a person than just about your physical traits.

Try to get 8 hours of sleep because it is key to have a healthier lifestyle.
Set goals. Always try to start with small goals step by step in a very effective way. Then, you can try to accomplish the hardest challenges. Eh! Never forget to give credits to yourself once you have achieved something. It feels good to reward yourself.
Write a to-do list and assign a deadline to get your routine completed it in time. If this stress you out, try something different that works best for you. Stress never helps to be aware of it. Try to take more breaks if you need it. If you work permits you, go out for a walk, meditate, drink something nice in a great environment. Do whatever makes you feel good!
Workout. It is great to have a balanced lifestyle. Do exercise have a lot of benefits in your body. It improves your health by decreasing the risk of some diseases, constipation, improve your muscles and your bones strengths, regulates your blood pressure…
Clean and tidy up your space.Particularly, your study/workroom. It feels greater when you have things organized and in the correct order. It is easier to find anything you want in time.
Check and response your emails. Then, categories them by themes or colors.
Listen to chill music of your choice without lyrics to avoid distractions. This may help you to be more focus. Sometimes, music helps some students to learn better.
Eat healthy food to boost your immune system. While we are studying/working… we tend to waste more energy than you think so feed yourself. Some suggestions you could try are nuts, one boiled egg, and fruits, black chocolate. In addition, drink a lot of water, drinking water will hydrate your body and it will help to circulate better your blood. Remember, water is essential for any living creature.

According to scientific researchers have shown a lot of people’s personalities traits through their calligraphy. There are a variety of styles depending on the person. We are distinctive so it is normal that this occurs.
Sometimes, people tend to say that someone’s handwriting does not matters. Actually, it does matters. Depending on your writing form… it tells briefly your type of personality.

Try to discover, learn and appreciate those moments because not everyone have the ability to appreciate it. Those occasions could be drinking a cup of coffee once you wake up, smell marvellous aromas, play an instrument, take a walk with your dog, etc. Basically, multiples actions could be your pleasures.

Eat five times a day if it is possible. Your body will appreciate that. Try to eat more healthy food. As healthier you eat as more beneficial will be for your body. It is okay if sometimes you eat junk food. It is okay while you are not abusing from it. Everything in a balanced way.
Spend less time using your phone, watching tv and your computer. Take fresh air, read a book, write something or do something you enjoy doing outdoors. We all need fresh air.
Sleep at least eight hours per day.
Try to break down your breaks while you are studying.
Go to bed early and wake up early if you are working. Generally, when you wake up earlier you have the possibility to be more duties during the day. Basically, you will be more productive but this is not always working for everyone. This is dedicated to those to morning persons.
Try to find something which motivates you daily.
Try to reduce the amount of junk food you are eating.
Replace bad habits for the good ones.
Eat a diversity of nuts
Try to give credits to yourself once you have accomplished a goal. It always recommendable to start with small goals. Remember: step by step you will achieve everything you want.
Smile or laugh more often.
Try not to judge others. Everyone is different, the difference makes us more appealing to others.
You should try mindfulness in case you are stress, anxious or depressed. It helps you to focus and reduce your stress level.
Try to drink less alcohol and try not to smoke as much as you used to do. It will help you to save more money. Your heart will be grateful for it.
If you can, donate money to those people in needs. If you cannot donate money. You can still help others. If your hair is very long, and you will cut it and throw it away. Instead of doing this. Donate your hair to someone with Cancer. Helping others is a great action to do.
Write per day/week a list of things you are most grateful for
Meet new people.
If you can afford it, travel somewhere you have never been. If you cannot afford… start saving money. Remember, nothing is impossible so make it possible.
Listen to music
Say I love you to your family and friends often. Let them know they are loved.
